Your nutrition is critical if you want to get 6 pack abs and see them year round. Too often, people think that doing ab exercise after ab exercise without paying attention to what they put in their mouth is going to get them abs. That is simply not the case. Sure, you may have a killer six pack, but I can guarantee you it will be hiding under a thick layer of stomach fat if you’re not attentive to how you eat.
In this video, I show you the absolute number one key to eating for abs and how to keep them year round. The thing you must have in your meal plan above anything else is convenience. Let’s face it, if you are the slightest bit inconvenienced by your diet you are likely to give up on it quickly. The reason this happens is that most diet plans already make you change too much about the way you live. They become an inconvenience that becomes harder and harder to stick to long term if they feel like a second job in order to succeed on them.
If you can keep your meal plan preparation simple and convenient, you will be amazed at just how effectively you can make a lifestyle change in the way you eat…and how easy it will be to get your abs to show all year round.
The two best ways to get abs is to build this convenience into the foods that you eat and prepare. As I show you, I pick one day out of the week to prepare as much food as I can for the next week to ten days. I will cook up a bunch of chicken breasts and then dress them up however I’d like to change the taste and keep the variety from day to day. One day it could be spicy cajun spices, the next tomato and olive oil, or the next pesto or mango salsa.
I prepare a large amount of sweet potatoes and then portion them out into single tupperware containers that quickly get placed in the freezer and taken out each day as I need them. The beauty of preparing everything at once in bulk is that I can spend the time required to do it just once, and benefit from it for the next week or more.
This level of convenience allows me to always stay locked in on my nutrition regardless of how busy my schedule may get on any given day.
The next example of easy nutrition is through supplementation and my ATHLEAN-Rx supplements. I can assure myself that I’m getting high quality protein and the ingredients my muscles need the most to grow and recover at exactly the time they need it the most. By making my nighttime muscle recovery protein shake ahead of time, I don’t have to worry about the blender making noise late at night and waking up those in the house.
I can also be sure that I never get too tired or skip this all important opportunity to provide my muscles with the nutrients they need while I sleep and rebuild. You can do the same exact thing and actually use the same exact supplements I do by heading to http://athleanx.com/athleanrx and getting the ATHLEAN-Rx supplements.

Just change your name to Abs Lean-X
You should probably do something more for people who aren’t balling like
you lol… like a struggling college student.. idk just a suggestion
Jeff likes his wine lol
Counting macros is the number 1 most accurate way to get lean you can’t
just “eat as much of healthy stuff as you want” like jeff says… excess
calories will turn to fat
If only I can force everyone at home to avoid unhealthy food..
Mr Cavalier, I would love to hear your opinion about vegetarianism (vegan).
Building muscle on a vegan diet .
You hit the nail in the head with this one Jeff. 6 pack abs is all about
time management and thinking ahead of time to keep everything ready and
organized so you don’t have to worry about what to eat when the time comes.
Everybody thinks that take a lot of time to do this but let keep this
honest. When it comes to eat, how much time do you spend thinking what to
eat?. This way you do all the work one day and will leave you with an
amazing amount of free time. Thanks for all this series.
I’ve been eating the same 6 meals every day for the last four+ months, I
found what I enjoy in the proper macro ratios and love having the same
stuff all the time, I don’t have to think about it anymore. Some I prepare
ahead of time for the week, some I really can’t, but it’s quick to make
(kale/coleslaw/chicken olive oil/balsamic/shriracha sauce salad, my post
protein shake post workout dinner). Also stock up on cottage cheese for the
night. Made a world of difference in results. Lost 30 pounds of fat since I
started.
Evry day i eat the same food u ve been talking about
but no rusalt

Oh my… your electrical wiring looks scary !

I eat healthy but still got that small stubborn belly fat that I can get
rid of, I’m very thin so i’m not going to run a diet, i’m 140lb trying to
gain weight, should I just worry about loosing that little belly fat later
?
Thanks For Taking The Time Jeff!
Jeff, do follow a strict meal plan or do you advocate flexble
dieting/iifym?
Oh well, when my girlfriend is around she forces me to unhealthy foods :c
I think what should also be added in this list of convenience, is knowing
how to cook. Most of the meals that can be prepared are simple and easy,
because you don’t have to actually wait that long to cook them. Beef, if
you want it other than being a steak, can be pressure cooked for around 45
minutes, depending on how soft you want it. If you can’t do that, start
with a slow cooker and slow cook the meat with little water in them, &
portion those throughout the week, if not day/s (kinda like pot roast). The
same can be done with vegetables, albeit much less time since they can be
easily cooked. Cooking isn’t as intimidating as everyone thought it is. The
greatest benefit of knowing how to cook? It’s *you* who knows what you’re
putting *in your body* . Plus, you’ll have the edge of knowing of what
restaurants/eateries, even some packaged foods, are putting/mixing in with
the food that you usually order. If you know, by being hands on (literally)
in the kitchen, what you’re eating, then it’ll be less stressful for you if
the food you’re eating will hinder your gains or not.
want 6 pack ? just drink soy drinks instead of milk and remove all dairy
products from your diet
